Assistant Pastor   -   Lynn Robertson

I was ordained in 2001 and it has been a great joy to serve Christ Lutheran Church since 2008 as an assistant pastor. The three greatest joys of my life are being a mom, a wife, and a pastor. I am also a passionate ally of the LGBTQ2S+ community.

Most of my ministry is focused in the area of pastoral care as I journey with people through the joys and challenges of their lives and offer comfort, support, and prayer. It as a great gift to journey with people in such a meaningful way!

The mission statement at Christ Lutheran Church is “inspired by Christ to love and serve.” One of the greatest joys in my ministry is to see and experience how that mission statement is lived out through so many faithful people in so many different ways. We are truly blessed at Christ Lutheran!

I look forward to serving the church in areas of Christian education, family and youth ministries, communication, and outreach.

Parish Worker  -  Beth Kelln

I feel very fortunate to serve Christ Lutheran Church as the new Parish Worker. I have been a member at Christ Lutheran since I was a child, and I was confirmed here. Members of the congregation might recognise me as a trumpet player, as I usually play at a few services each year. I am grateful to share my faith with my husband, and we were married at Christ Lutheran this past summer. I appreciate being part of such an active, caring congregation at Christ Lutheran, and I am excited to serve the church as the Parish Worker.

Before starting this role, I worked as a high school teacher for eight years, teaching a combination of Christian Ethics, English Language Arts, and English as an Additional Language. During my time teaching Christian Ethics, I saw how valuable it is to create safe spaces to discuss faith and religion, to ask tough questions and recognise that there are no easy answers. I also value faith spaces being inclusive and open to all.

I am grateful to be part of a church community that strives to grow in inclusion and allyship; as we remind ourselves at our annual Pride service and throughout the year, “God loves and welcomes all and so do we.”

Custodian  -   Susan Kohl

I am married to Del. Together we have 5 adult children and 12 grandchildren.

I have been privileged to be a part of Christ Lutheran Staff for 22 years and have worked with many amazing people. I particularly enjoy the elders or seniors of the church with their years of wisdom and faith backgrounds. There is lots to learn from these wise people. I appreciate the genuine caring and receiving of care that takes place both here and outside of these walls.

It is my pleasure to keep this church clean, safe, secure and beautiful.
